ES Electrode Steam Boilers are available up to 6,080 kg/h (13,400 lb/h). ES5 to ES90. ES130 and ES240. The heat source is the current which flows through the water between the electrodes. The heat generated is proportional to the amount of current flowing and this depends on the surface area of the electrodes immersed in the water. Since heat is generated only in the water, no other part of the boiler becomes hotter. ES electrode steam boilers reach working pressure very quickly. The boilers are intrinsically fail-safe since low water level means no current can flow.
EW Electrode Hot Water Boilers are available up to 3,585 kW (12,232,000 Btu/h).The principle of operation is the same as the ES boiler described above.
ELV Immersion Element Steam Boilers are available up to 190 kg/h (420 lb/h). They are packaged with a stainless steel feed water tank and a feed water pump. The heat source is Incoloy sheathed immersed elements of low surface loading for long life.
IS Immersion Element Steam Boilers are available up to 3,345 kg/h (7,370 lb/h). The heat source is Incoloy sheathed immersed elements of low surface loading for long life. See photograph at left.
IW Immersion Element Hot Water Boilers are available up to 936 kW (3,193,000 Btu/h). The heat source is Incoloy sheathed immersed elements of low surface loading for long life.
All boilers are available at a Voltage to match the local electrical supply.
