Steam Boilers – E130 and ES240

Specification

ES Models available up to 6000kg/h from and at 100oC

ELECTRICAL SUPPLY:

3 phase, 4 wire (voltage up to 690V and frequency 50/60Hz to be specified)

VESSEL:

Built to BS1894 and BS5500. Independently inspected by Allianz Cornhill Insurance – full certification is issued with completed boilers Standard Pressures: Working Pressure 10.3 barg (150 psig). Design Pressure 11.4 barg (165 psig). Higher pressures are available.

Insulation:

High density rockwool, covered by galvanized steel sheet.

Mechanical Connections:

BS4504 PN16, alternatives available at no extra cost.

ELECTRODES:

Cast iron, supported by high strength ceramic insulators.

CONTROLS:

Air circuit breaker fitted with overload protection. Boiler on-auto-off selector switch. Low pressure switch. High pressure switch. Intermediate pressure switch. Pump on-off switch. Load selection switch (10 to 100% of full load). Ammeter switch. Lamp test switch. Pressure modulating controller

Control Panel Indications:

Boiler circuit breaker closed. Boiler on. High pressure. Low pressure. Voltmeter. Ammeter – with selector switch for each phase.

Optional Controls:

Time Switch. Remote on/off selection. Remote indication of boiler on, pump tripped, boiler load, boiler pressure

FITTINGS AND MOUNTINGS:

Pressure gauge. Water level gauge with blowdown cock. Blowdown valve. Steam stop valve. Safety valve.

Optional Fittings:

Second safety valve, standby feedwater pump.

FEEDWATER Pump:

Multi-stage centrifugal pump. Pump is high pressure, heavy duty and fitted with TEFC motor. Pump is chassis mounted.

SKID BASE:

Welded from mild steel channel with a foundation hole at each corner.

LIFTING:

A lifting lug is fitted at each corner of the skid base. The top cover/electrode assembly is fitted with lifting lugs - see general arrangement drawing for clearance height required to lifting hook. Lifting equipment must be provided to enable the top cover/electrode assembly to be removed from the boiler vessel and lowered to the floor level
